I earned my Masters in Public Administration after a long and determined journey, so I wholeheartedly understand the importance of persistence, access to opportunity, and the transformative power of education.

I’m a community-minded citizen with over ten years of direct management and coaching experience. I’m proud to enter this race with a passion for collaboration and a desire to show the community that our government can work effectively to solve everyday issues. For me, governance is not a spectator sport; I believe we need to take an active role in improving the lives of our neighbors.

Education is Everything

Seattle is Home

I’m a dedicated advocate for public education and effective governance, with a track record of leadership in Seattle.

As a member of Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Commission, I’ve actively contributed to expanding the commission's capacity, helping to ensure broader representation and advocacy for the community. My experience in public service also includes successfully facilitating a quality interlocal agreement between the city I work for and two neighboring cities in South King County. If elected to District 5, I’m ready to advocate for Seattle students.
